Eritrea – An Overview

An important tourist destination of the place in Africa is Eritrea. The country is located on the northern part of East Africa. It has boundary with Sudan, Ethiopia and Djibou. The main area of the tourist activities are at the coastline. This is besides the red sea. The place has hilly terrains in the North West. There are rolling plains on the south west.
Eritrea is located between 150N and 390. The total land area is 121,320 sq km. There is a high central plateau. It rise to a height of 3,000 meters above the sea level. The landmass comprise of coastal plain, the western lowlands and about 300 islands.
The climate of the place is very temperate. There are hot and dry climatic conditions. An elevation of 2300 meters above the sea level is the height of the country capital. The capital of the country is Asmara. While coming to entertainment there are many entertainment centers. The entertainment and hospitality of the country needs to be appreciated. There are historical sites, parks, cinemas and art galleries.
